Nursery & Pre-School Staff
Staff at The Hilltopper’s Nursery are well qualified. We have an Executive Principal from Astrea Trust who is a qualified teacher who works alongside the Nursery Manager and 3 other practitioners who are qualified to at least Level 3.
Staff have many years’ experience in child care and education which have a positive impact on standards of care and education for children at the setting.
We actively encourage our staff to continue with their personal development and update their training.
All staff have Safeguard Training (We have a DSL Designated Safeguarding Lead and a DDSL Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead), First Aid Training and Food Safety.
Our recruitment process is robust. The system requires an up to date Disclosure and Barring System (DBS) document and valid references. We have carefully chosen staff for their experience, knowledge, enthusiasm, continuous professional development and their caring nature.
We believe our success is due to highly trained staff supported by a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinators (SEND).
