Welcome to The Hilltoppers Nursery

Welcome to Hilltoppers Nursery. Hilltoppers Nursery is committed to working respectfully with children and families in ways that value the diversity of the community we serve. We will strive to operate and provide a continually improving environment which enables children to develop to their full potential.

Our vision is that all children in our care will thrive in our dedicated, nurturing and stimulating environment. They will enter school ready to learn: to ultimately become valuable, well balanced members of society.

It is our mission that children in our care will succeed in a positive, learning and caring setting, where parents/carers will be encouraged to participate in their child’s learning to optimise growth and potential. We will prepare children to enter school ready to learn and participate in family and community life.

Our aim is to be an innovative and responsible provider of early year’s education and childcare, by providing facilities and services that are required to build on every child’s early experiences acquired at home.  Whilst pursuing our mission, we will achieve the following:

·       Children – Through opportunities, will be creative, imaginative and active learners, willing to explore, investigate, experiment and discover new skills and concepts.

·       Parents and Carers – will have peace of mind in the knowledge that they are able to leave their child in our care, whilst still being able to participate in their little ones’ care and education. This will enable a consistent approach to development by both home and nursery.

·       Staff – By maintaining a stimulating working environment that encourages new initiatives and best practice, it will in turn enhance professional and personal development. Whist ensuring planning is followed staff are all aware that spontaneous learning opportunities are identified and recognised as they occur.

·       Other stakeholders – By our commitment to playing a full part in the local community and school, maintaining excellent links and affiliations with local groups and children’s centres, working collaboratively with outside agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our children and their families.
